"I love Clairol's Nice 'N Easy hair color because it's easy to use, and it doesn't have a harsh smell. I go back and forth between dark blonde and strawberry blonde, and Natural Reddish Blonde was always my favorite "red" to color with. It is very shimmery and vibrant. Red never stays in my hair long, but I always found this red to be superior compared to other brands. Its only flaw is that it fades quickly, but I have also come to expect that when coloring my hair red."

"This color originally looks great, & natural, but within a short time, it loses it's luster. The worse part is that, in 3-4 weeks, you will need to re-do the roots, & there is no Root Touch-up that is close to the color. Using another full box to just color roots is a waste, plus it really makes the whole result look harsh & cheap, and very unnatural.

Thanks for sharing. I know losing that “just colored look” earlier than expected is disappointing. While I wish this wasn’t so, the vibrancy of reds tends to fade faster than other shades. A few things could make a shade fade even more quickly, including the color and condition of your hair before coloring, the application and timing of the colorant and even environmental factors. I understand not wanting to color so frequently. Have you tried a root touch up application, where you would color your roots first and then “freshen” up your remaining hair for just 5 minutes with the rest of the product? This might help keep your color looking fresh without giving you the “harsh” results that concern you. "I've been dyeing my hair red for about 10 years, in the first 10 years I probably tried every shade that was available at the time before I settled on Nice 'n' Easy 108. It's the perfect balance between strawberry blond and (brown/purple) auburn for my (very) fair skin.
When I moved it got harder to find so I would either order it online or, when I found a reliable store, get it there. Now I order a 3 pack online from Amazon because I just can't get it in my neighborhood, but so many people think I'm a natural redhead, I'm not about to risk changing colors unless there's an emergency. I expect I'll be loyal to this shade until I make a drastic change to blonde or brunette!"

"As a student who has just finished undergrad, I was looking for a way to save money, and so I decided to colour my hair at home instead of my usual salon. I had used Nice 'N Easy before, so I trusted them and phoned for advice on which colour to use. As a natural strawberry blonde, I was just looking to revive my fading natural red, which has turned more blonde in recent years. This colour looks great, and very natural! I am extremely pleased with the results! If you're looking for a natural-looking red, this is the one! Thanks Clairol for saving me $60, while giving me better colour than my salon!"

"i am so happy with the color choice i made. i'm fair skin with pink undertones, with natural ash blonde hair. recently i had decided to dye my already bleached blonde hair to my natural color, and ended up with green undertones (from another name brand which shall remain nameless. even though the box said it was a natural dark blonde). i decided to go for a red tone, to counter the green... and the results from using this product were nothing less than fantastic. it not only changed the green tone, but also came out the exact color it indicated on the back of the box. i don't know about you, but that usually never happens for me. the color is completely beautiful and natural looking ( and brings out my blue eyes). i never seem to stick with one color or brand, but i think i found the right color for me. if you love red hair, and want the lightest most natural look, then don't hesitate and try it."

"I FOUND THIS COLOR TO BE EXACTLY LIKE MY OWN HAIR COLOR. I LOVE THE NATURAL LOOK AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE CONDITIONER THAT COMES WITH IT. MY ONLY PROBLEM IS I CAN NOT ALWAYS FIND THE COLOR HERE WHERE I LIVE, SO I HAVE HAD TO GO WITH OTHER COLORS. I TRIED THE LIGHT AUBURN AND IT IS SO ALIVE AND VIBRANT AND ALSO LOOKS NATURAL BUT NOT REALLY MY NATURAL COLOR BUT ALOT OF FUN TO WEAR. I ONLY HAVE WALMART, WALGREENS AND HEB WHERE I CAN GET ANY HAIR COLOR AND ALTHOUGH I HAVE ASKED FOR THESE STORES TO ORDER MY COLOR I HAVE YET TO FIND IT. I AM NEW TO HAIR COLOR AS MY HAIR HAS TAKEN ALONG TIME TO TURN GREY AND ONLY THE VERY FRONT SO FAR HAS TURNED. HAD I KNOW HOW MUCH FUN IT WAS I WOULD HAVE DONE THIS ALONG TIME AGO. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!

"I have been a fan of Nice & Easy Product #108 for many years.
Although I find as I develop more gray in my hair, that the color no longer totally covers it for more than 2-3 weeks, I continue to use only this product, because I really love the highlights & natural color it gives me.
I am finding it increasingly difficult though, to find this exact shade - #108.
Today, I went to at least 5 stores in three different neighborhoods (by bus), and was unable to find it, although they had many other shades of Nice & Easy.
One store manager tried to tell me that you had discontinued # 108; I knew this to be untrue as I had purchased the product in his store only three weeks ago!!
I am disabled, so it is very difficult at times to travel all over Queens, New York, looking for #108!
I believe what I will do is to start ordering it online. Although I hate having to pay extra for shipping, it is easier than making myself tired & crazy looking for this color. And since I am Not willing to switch to another shade, I don't have much choice.
I give Top Grades to Nice & Easy Products, particularly my Favorite - #108!!!"

"I have been a fan of Nice n Easy for many years. I found 108 and found it most closely matches my color. However, I found that on the new box, the shade is different. The color is not as "vibrant" as it has been before. Luckily, I was able to find "older" boxes in the store. I am hesitant to try the product in the new box, because the color palette on the outside seems too "mousy.""
